SUICIDAS has been a source of hymns for the Spanish-speaking punk scene since their first release. Dark lyrics with beautiful melodies and outstanding vocals that will be your greatest companion through problems of love, lost friends, and bad decisions. But they will not only help you avoid your psychologist, but also push you to keep resisting against everything in a fucked-up world. Just turn the volume up and enjoy the experience.

My favorite songs are “Senderos” and “Venenos”, tracks that I’ll probably listen to on repeat, like I’ve been doing for years with their previous releases. The dual vocals have always been an amazing part of this band, and now, in this release, I found the perfect lead guitars that I thought fit perfectly with this music. Then I read that they added another guitar player to the band, what a good decision. The bass, as always, is just an amazing expression of 70s punk, and makes you want to dance to each track, while the drums keep a perfect structure and tempo to make every song a hit.

Give some good rock to sad and fierce punks and you will always have a perfect combination. SUICIDAS also prove a general influence of all 70s punk, like SCREAMING SNEAKERS and, of course, RAMONES. But they also pay homage to other bands like ÚLTIMO RESORTE, who are not only paraphrased but also have Silvia Escario participating in the recording with some guest vocals. A true gem not to forget in a time of fast-music consumption.
