Reviews of new releases in hardcore punk. The Counterforce accepts a broad sonic definition of hardcore punk (we know it when we see it). We do not publish reviews of major label releases or releases that are only available online through corporate streaming platforms like Spotify. The emphasis is on the bands who are pushing to distribute their music outside of corporate platforms and social media, whether online or off. No links to Spotify, Instagram, Linktree, etc.
